First, an apology. I went quiet for the last couple of weeks while finishing my degree. That's on me. I should have communicated better. I'm sorry. 

Here’s what I did this week for HD‑8. I am going to be sending out a weekly update and let you all know what's going on! You’re getting this because you’ve shown faith in me – thank you.

 What got done:

• Graduated on 4/5 - officially done, now full-time on the campaign.

• Knocked 40 doors in Fort Dodge - (Precinct 5) - more to come with our warm weekend.

• Picked up new campaign intro literature 

• Updated campaign website

• Recorded 2 videos for social media

• Met with Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement (CCI)

• Attended a webinar from Dr. Larry Weber (IIHR) on our state's water quality sensors

• Met with Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance

• Scheduled a "Restart Reconnect" pizza or Zoom meet up for 4/16 afternoon/evening - location TBD, reply if you can make it

 What I’m struggling with:

• Still need a campaign manager (paid part-time, 10-15 hrs/week - do you know anyone organized and reliable?– please reply Or forward this

• Balancing listening sessions with actual door knocking - I don't want to waste anyone's time.

 Next week’s goals:

• Find campaign manager (seriously - this is my top priority)

• Host the pizza meetup, and assign volunteer roles
